This weekend I had all my images printed for the pendants I will be making. Soon it will be time for an assembly line-like production process. In an odd way, I look forward to mindless production processes. It reminds me of working as a lab tech sometimes, very procedure oriented.

Here is my new drink:
chai tea w/ steamed milk. While in Pittsburgh a few weeks ago we ate at
Eat 'n Park.I ordered some chai tea with the breakfast bar. The breakfast bar had pierogies on it! ahhhh, only in Pittsburgh. Anyways, the chai tea was really good. I can't believe I'd never had it before.

Last night I wrote out most of my business plan, or I guess just a draft. I think it's pretty explanatory though. Everything was just kinda flowing, which is unusual for me.
I've been reading craft/art business books.
like:
the business of artcrafting as a businesshandmade for profitand more.

I have to say that I haven't done much artwork recently. But I have been busy, mostly organizing and preparing for upcoming things. What kinds of things?
Well here is what I'm working on today.
I will be making lots of new pendants. All of my future pendants will strictly display my own original artwork. Maybe someday I can focus on custom pendants too but right now it's all about wings and flaginas. :)
Here's a screenshot of some of the files I'm working on for print. These are going to be so dope!!

These pendants will be available soon.

Check out the new pendants. These are on wood. I love the depth, so I think I will be using this type of wood for most of the pendants.
They look much better in person.
I love my dremel. I used it to drill the holes into the top for the eye pin, bead and bail.

The big flowers are home. Here is one hanging by the tree. (bowltube iris)

I've been experimenting with image transfer techniques on polymer clay and wood. Below is a photo of some pieces of scrap wood w/ transfers. Some images were transferred using epson t-shirt transfer paper and some were given to me by
jimiyo. (check out his test prints on his blog)
the result? not sure yet. I think I will just decoupage. ha!
Actually I really like how the wood grain comes through an image where it's light colored or white. So I may use this transfer technique with certain designs in mind or create designs specifically for transferring.

just a random sketch that I really like:

I bought a
dremel this week! I haven't actually used it yet. I need to get some extra collets for my tiny drill bits. It should come in handy for lots of projects. Now I need to get a little vise.
